Lifting heavy

I love working out and exercising, cardio is fun and all, makes your heart beat faster, but nothing beats lifting weights.

The feeling of successfully lifting that specific weight, especially if you’ve been struggling with it for a while. You know that you have been working hard and it’s paying off. There’s a sense of relief knowing that you can do it and now you can move on.

I remember when after my accident, because of my injury, I wasn’t able to lift a 5kg dumb bell, but now after years of hard work and persistence, I’m up to repping a 20kg dumb bell, 20 times.

Ok I still have some effects from that which roves to me that I need to get stronger and I can still improve.

But through hard work and repetition I’ve become stronger and better and that’s the point of lifting heavy, is to improve ourselves.
