Intense but fun workout

Workouts and gym training are necessary, but they don’t have to be boring. Make them enjoyable and fun.

Like todays session. I really had a good sweat going but really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun, joking around with my trainer.

Ok it does help we are the same age so can relate a little to each other. And that’s one of the reasons I enjoy my workouts so much, I have someone my own age I can joke with but who also pushes me to an extent, like I’ll challenge him and then have to live up to it. But I also challenge myself and push myself to go further and do more.

Like today, I went on the ski-ergo(I dislike that thing). But I set it up so I have 500/1:00, which is really push myself for 500m and then rest for a minute, it basically took me about 2:30 minutes for 500m (I dunno if that’s good or not but I think it was), then rest for a minute. But I didn’t need a minute’s rest so I just pushed through. Ok it also meant I had no idea how far I ended up going, so let’s say about 1300m in about 6 minutes (again, not sure if that’s good or not).

At the end of it I was really tired but felt so good.

Also the music was quite good. My kinda music, not this modern electronic stuff. Proper band. Was RHCP Californication (the one that stood out to me anyway). That’s the thing, good music and good company always makes you feel better about exercising.
