Well I was back in the gym today after about a week of not going due to illness and just life getting busy, but I got back today, luckily I didn’t battle to keep up because I have been working out daily in my home gym to keep my fitness up.
Although I have to admit that my glutes are quite sore from work, especially that ski-ergo, that this is great for doing ar,s and legs, also a little bit of a good core workout.
I wanna talk about fitness levels, I’ve noticed it is quite amazing how quickly your fitness level drops off if you’re not doing anything to help keep it up,
So it’s always good to do a little gym exercise at home, a small routine. Even if it’s walking/jogging, pushups, squats, and then obviously the correct nutrition which has a huge role to play.
We can’t expect to be at piqué physical performance if we treat our bodies like an afterthought.
I love my protein which is great for muscle growth and repair, one of my favourite sources of protein (behind protein powder) is eggs, I love eating my eggs, but I also really enjoy my good ol’ red meat.
I’ve been having this discussion for a while now. As a society were unhealthy and depressed because we are no longer eating good wholesome foods, everything is chemically enhanced and that is incredibly bad. I’ve noticed there has been a major decline in testosterone in males, that has so many negative side effects, testosterone is a man’s best friend.
Just having a bit of a rant so I’ll stop there.
Keep well and get your protein in to stay healthy and strong to lift more.
