I had basically a week off going into the gym due to some housework and that, the thing is I have my home gym so I did do that daily to get my exercise in, keep fit and subtle.
Back in the gym today wasn’t quite so hectic because I’m keeping fit at home and doing all the work and walking. But back in the gym was still a very good workout.
Didn’t start with my usual 10 minute cycle today (all the kites were busy), so instead did the treadmill for a warm up, but me being me, I crank that thing up to a decent incline and a decent speed for a good while.
Then did stretches, 50 sit ups, 50 crunches, heel taps, cruch’n’fetch with a 20kg ball, tricep dips
My “regular” work done, I then moved on to the other stuff where I did interval training on the bike with arms, 20 seconds fast, 10 slow. Then I did 15 push ups on the bozu and repeat it.
Did a few other exercises but yeah it was a good session
Back ti the gym after a break…
I enjoy going back to the gym cause it proves how much we all need to move and exercise.
I had an accident in 2011 so I’ll never stop improving myself and keeping my fitness up, and I can see it, the gym is great rehab for me , it keeps us strong and enables us to deal with the difficulties life throws at us. I see how much unfit people battle to do simple tasks and I’m thankful I always push myself to stay fit and workout, even if I don’t feel like it.
We all need to stay fit and be strong in life or else life knocks us down. We gotta stand up stronger and not let it beat us.
