Monday gym session

What is it about a Monday session that always just feels that little bit harder. Ok I do go pretty hard anyway but a Monday session just hits different.

Maybe its because you’ve just had 2 nice fairly relaxing days.

Or supposed to relax anyway, weekends are also that time to do all the other intense work we don’t get around to doing during the week. And lots of walking.

My session today was a little turned around because when I got there I couldn’t start with 10 minute cycle warm up as all the bikes were busy, so instead jumped into stretches and sit ups. The sit ups were a great workout though, I really enjoyed the ab burn I got from that, and the crunch’n’fetch was also really good. My core has got so much stronger over time, and I’m so happy with it.

It’s been a very long time now, but after my accident I couldn’t even sit up in my wheelchair my core was so weak, and now I’m doing 50 sit ups, crunches, fetches, and a whole lot more.

It goes to show that time really does fix everything.
