Today I had a really tough gym sesh. That rowing machine really gets you.
The thing about the rowing machine is it works everything, it’s a full body workout which is really good but does it make a person tired.
I had 2 sessions on it. 1st session I managed 502m in 2 minutes which is respectable I think. But after a few other exercises, I really wasn’t feeling that second one so only managed about 300m or so.
But overall it was a really great rough workout.
Did some deadlifts with 10kg/side so 20 + the bar is almost 10 if I remember. But I did deadlifts into overhead press, so it’s lift to chest then lift above your head. I only managed to rep 10 like that.
But the real killer today was the bench press on the smith machine. I repped 20 x 2 of 15kg (plus the bar which is 8 I think), now that got me good.
So the 2 intense exercises were the rowing machine (2min @ full setting) X 2, then that smith machine bench press (20 reps at 15kg + the bar).
I did some other stuff like pull ups, push ups, squats.and a whole lot of sit ups.
But the highlight was the rowing and bench. that made me tired, plus it’s a Friday so I’m kinda tired from the week anyway.
