Todays a public holiday here, so on top of gym not being open, no one would be there anyway. But normally that doesn’t stop me from doing some exercises on my bench here at home. Except today, I walked, I walked a lot. Like almost 13k steps a lot.
And on top of walking, I did many many laps In The pool and swimming is really good for light resistance training and cardio work.
I love swimming, I swim at every opportunity, but I don’t just get in the water and gently float around, oh no, I really swim and push myself hard to get my heart rate up and help burn off those extra calories. After today and the way my feet feel I have to have burnt off a good few.
So on top of walking a good 7/8 kilometres I’ve probably swam a good few hundred metered once all added up. I’m feeling quite physically tired.
Now bed. And we start it all again in the morning.
