Keep moving forward

Yesterday I fell asleep after 10 but before I fell asleep I checked my steps on my watch and it read 11650 and that got me thinking.

I’ve already said that the goal step count for many people should be to reach 10k, that’s like the healthy goal to have become walking often helps a lot with cardiovascular health and a whole lot of other stuff. Our goal should be 10k for the physical health benefits yes, but also the mental health benefits.

Ok I often reach 10k and up but it always fills me with a sense of pride and achievement when I do, it makes it feel that all that effort I put in was worth it because I know that I’m getting fitter, stronger and improving endurance.

So my take is we should all always be moving just that little but more, you’ll feel so much better for it and you’ll thank yourself in the end.
