I love exercising, but some routines get you more than others.
Particularly leg days, like today. I had this really intense one today. My calves, quads and glutes were on fire.
The thing that really gets me set up for a great workout is that 10 minute warm up session on the static bike. If I really give it my all and push myself (like today) then I know I’m in for a good one.
And boy was it a good session, my calves are still feeling it. All from doing that reformer, that thing gets you. It’s best for being able to isolate muscle groups. I ended up doing 60 rep, each, on wide and narrow stance, and heels and pads. So that’s what really got my legs burning, but to top it off I did a 10 minute walking session on the treadmill at 5.6km/h at an incline (only 4 degrees but that’s still work). So that’s why my legs are so tired,but I still did some arm stuff too, I always work on the arms too.
So all in all a great workout session today. But then again I always have a great workout. It’s tiring but always fun.
