Got home from my gym sesh earlier and gotta admit, it was a tough one.
I had arm day today, that’s always fun (only a hint of sarcasm there).
No, seriously all those dumb-bell flies and chips and bicep curls really did make my arms come alive.
Also, 946 meters on the rowing machine in 4 minutes (I only do things on full resistance) was pretty. Good. The reason I love the rowing machine is it’s great cardio, but also works the arms, legs, core, everything. It’s a great full body workout, and you feel it when you pump it. I’ve been going for strength as well as endurance lately, so I really pump it hard and see how long I can maintain that for. I average about 940m on a rowing session, which isn’t all that bad, I don’t think.
But it wasn’t just rowing that got me today, it was the ski-ergo too, that simulates skiing, but again on full resistance. So it’s kinda like skiing up hill. Now I’ve never been skiing but I don’t think skiing up hill would be all that easy.
So a really got arm sesh today. My arms are on fire, especially my forearms.
