Yeah I was like “I’m gonna wait for this afternoon to work out with my fam), but that bench press was just calling me, so decided to quickly knock out a few dumb-bell flies, and a couple sit ups.
One thing I learned is it’s not about the quantity of the exercise, but rather it’s about the quality. Does it feel as though you’ve done something, if the answer is yes’m then that’s a job well done. If the answer is no, then why did you even try is my belief.
For instance, I just did a few floes, but my pecs feel as though I’ve done something, so I’m happy. And my biceps are also feeling it cause, well I’m not lifting super light. Yes, given it’s not crazy heavy, about 10kgs, but it’s a fly, so it’s out of your base of support so you feel the exercise that much more.
But it’s fun, I enjoy pushing myself and if it weren’t for pushing myself I wouldn’t be here to document my little gym sessions.
