Just did a Monday gym session, Mondays are always the hardest to get back into the groove of gym.
Luckily, Saturday was spent laying a new floor on the house, so I went hard the whole day,
But at least Sunday was a a bit of a rest day. Spent it cleaning the house and making it look all pretty for visitors we had.
But this morning, 8am I was back on the bike for a warm up.
Then the bed for stretches and other bed stuff like sit-ups and “crunch’n’fetch (where I hold my legs 90’ and crunch up with a 15kg ball, put it on my legs), I do a total of 15 of those (it’s hard work, ok).
After that I did a dumb-bell pick up (20-per arm)
Then onto the reformer, 30-heels, 30 pads(front of the foot), and all this is single leg.
Then I did my favourite. The dreaded and tiring rowing machine. And I’m glad because I did 954m in 4:00 which is not too shabby at all.
That was it, I was tired and my hour was up. Yay now I get to go have breakfast at home and recover. I’m probably missing a few exercises but those were the big ones.
Heavy and tiring, just like a gym session is supposed to be.
I notice some people come to the gym, and treat it as a hobby, they just mostly mess around. But then then are the other people like myself, really slay our demons and get down to work. I love the sweat and the feel of my muscles burning, it makes me feel alive.
Gym is good.
