No gym today (unfortunately)

Alright I’m not perfect, I said it.

I’m not going to the gym today (I should have gone but nah , but there’s reasons)

You see, I go the gym with my dad and can’t always go because sometimes I don’t feel up for it and nor does he.

We live quite a good distance from my gym (+- 20kms) and we also normally get up at about 5:00am to get ready, because of the distance I live. So there are days where either my dad or I don’t always feel up for it.

But…

That doesn’t stop us, as I said , I “workout” at home , I have all the gym equipment to do a good workout here at home, so it’s not a complete loss.

Yes it is for fun to go in and workout because then I get to see some other faces, interact with other people, joke, laugh and get an overall really good session in.

But I’m human , so don’t always get the opportunity to go kill myself ar the gym so I’ll make myself tired here at home.

And usually when I’m here at home I’m building on the house and doing stuff anyway. So it’s not like I just sit and do nothing.

Like I’m happy to say, yesterday i got in about 8500 steps which isn’t so bad. Remember I spoke about the importance of a good step count. So that’s a good thing, +-8500 steps is a good amount, even though it’s not precisely the magic 10k! But it’ll do.

So yeah to sum up, I’m not going in to workout today but I’ll workout at home because of it, like I’ll put my mat out, do my sit ups, push ups, squats, lunges and maybe even do some deadlifts (just cause I can)
