Today’s a rest day which I have every Tuesday and Thursday as well as weekends.
Well I say a rest day loosely cause I do still exercise, but from home and don’t go as hard. Like only really some dit ups and maybe a couple push ups, but no real cardio.
Unless I’m building, let me explain.
For the past few years my family and I have been building and renovating our house. We’re doing it all ourselves because we have the knowledge and capabilities to do so.
Like we actually lay the bricks and floor and such, and thankfully it’s kinda coming to an end.
But today is a rest day, and I really need it today. My shoulders, arms, glutes and core are all quite tired from yesterday’s gym sesh.
Don’t get me wrong, I love that burn and being sore afterwards because it tells me I’ve actually done some work. So in that respect I embrace the burn.
